Microsoft Surface Hub 2S/2X conference will be held on April 17 with a 50.5-inch display screen
At Ignite 2018, Microsoft announced its successor to Surface Hub 2, which will be launched in 2019 and Surface Hub 2X in 2020.
Now Microsoft, in collaboration with Steelcase, has issued an invitation for the April 17 event, which is said to focus on Surface Hub 2S/2X devices.
Surface Hub 2S will be equipped with a 50.5-inch display, 4K + resolution and 3:2 aspect ratio screen. Microsoft also ensures a narrower border, giving Surface Hub 2 a better screen-to-fuselage ratio.
Although Surface Hub 2S will be equipped with the latest hardware, the software experience is expected to remain consistent with Surface Hub.
However, Marry Jo Foley from ZDNet, a foreign media, expressed his hope that the demo and collaboration devices would run Microsoft 365 - Microsoft's Windows 10, Office 365 and Enterprise Management + Security Bundle, and support dynamic rotation themes, multi-user authentication, tiling and other functions. It is known that these new features will not enter Surface Hub 2X until 2020.
Although the April event was Surface's new product, foreign media Mary Jo Foley said she did not expect any other devices to be displayed and released.
